The Ramadan calendar, inspired by Norwegian advent calendars, was created to make Ramadan special for children while helping them connect with their cultural and religious heritage. While there were already other Ramadan calendars, this one focused specifically on children, with a colorful and engaging design tailored to for them.

At the same time, it helps Muslim children in Norway feel included by blending a familiar local tradition with their own, fostering a sense of belonging and integration in a multicultural society. The project was created, manufactured and successfully launched in March 2022.
